I took Module 1 (Introduction to Global Public Health) of this 4-module course at the end of June. It's offered every summer (~end of June-end of July) by the West Virginia University School of Medicine Office of Continuing Education and the Global Health Program. The course can be taken in person at the Health Sciences Center on campus in Morgantown WV or online. I took it in person and thoroughly enjoyed the interaction with the faculty (they were stellar) and other students. Morgantown is lovely in the summertime, especially with 2/3 of the students off campus! For more info on this very worthwhile course, check out their site: www.hsc.wvu/som/tropmed/Tropical-Medicine-Course/ or www.wvu.edu.
